Dr Jonathan Wentzel

I am a GP working at Marden Medical Centre since May 2019. Prior to that I worked for 24 happy years at The Vine Medical Centre in Maidstone.  I consider myself a committed generalist with several interests including diabetes, clinical IT and medical education. My role at Marden Medical Centre includes GP training. 

I also work for The Weald Primary Care Network as the Community Educational Facilitator. This role includes the promotion of lifelong learning, workplace-based learning, and education as it relates to workforce recruitment and retention- ‘stay & grow’. Our current focus is looking at increasing training capacity at all levels in primary care within the Weald of Kent working collaboratively with Health Education England & educational institutions.
