Charlotte Young
Hello, my name is Charlotte. I am a registered Mental Health Nurse with over 4 years experience of working in children and young people’s mental heath services in Kent.
In this role, I work across the Weald Primary Care Network to support children and young people’s mental health and emotional wellbeing needs. I provide support, advice, and treatment to young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties such as anxiety and low mood. I also help children, young people, and families with accessing the most appropriate support services for their needs. Sometimes this may include onward referral or signposting to other health & wellbeing services, voluntary services, charities, and support groups within the local community.
I strive to work with young people and families using a person-centred approach whilst also applying my knowledge and skills in this area to ensure they feel supported and empowered.
