Pamela Nesbit
Gender: Female
Hello, my name is Pamela. I have been a registered Mental Health Nurse for 6 years with over 13 years’ experience of working in adult mental heath services in Kent.
In this role, I work across the Weald Primary Care Network to support adults with their mental health and emotional wellbeing needs. I provide support, advice, and treatment for mild to moderate mental health difficulties such as anxiety and low mood. I offer help with accessing the most appropriate support services to help each individual. Sometimes this may include onward referral or signposting to other health & wellbeing services, voluntary services, charities, and support groups within the local community.
I work with an individual and their family, where appropriate, to provide an individual person-centred approach, making sure clients I work with feel listened to and understood. I take an empathetic approach and will use my knowledge and skills in mental health to empower and support each person I work with.
